Acceptance of Terms
By accessing the Website, submitting an enquiry form, requesting a quotation, making a payment, or confirming any booking with Visament, you enter into a binding agreement with the Company on these Terms. These Terms apply together with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of this agreement.
If you are booking for other travellers — family members, friends or colleagues — you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms on their behalf, that you have shared these Terms with them, and that they have consented to your providing their personal details to us.

About Our Services
Visament is a private travel planning and concierge company. We design personalised itineraries for travel to and within India, and we arrange the components of your trip — flights, accommodation, airport transfers, private transport, sightseeing, activities, dining reservations and related concierge support.
In practical terms, this means:
- We plan and coordinate. We build the itinerary, recommend options, obtain pricing, make reservations on your instructions, and act as your single point of contact throughout the trip.
- Suppliers deliver. The actual flights, rooms, vehicles, tours and activities are provided by independent Suppliers, not by Visament.
- Inclusions are defined by your Quotation. Anything not expressly listed in your confirmed itinerary is not included. Package contents vary, and your travel consultant will confirm the exact list before you pay.
We do not provide legal, immigration, medical or financial advice. Any general information we share about entry requirements, weather, health or destinations is provided in good faith for convenience, but you must verify it against official sources before you travel.
Travel Documents and Entry Requirements
You are solely responsible for ensuring that you hold all documents required for your journey. This includes, but is not limited to:
- A passport valid for the period required by your destination and transit countries.
- Any visa, permit or electronic travel authorisation required for entry or transit.
- Health, vaccination or medical documentation required by any country on your route.
- Any onward or return ticket, proof of funds or accommodation confirmation an authority may ask for.
Entry requirements change frequently and differ by nationality. Please check them with the relevant embassy, consulate or official government website before booking non-refundable travel. We are not liable for denied boarding, denied entry, deportation, missed travel, fines or any resulting loss caused by missing, expired or incorrect travel documents.
Who Can Book
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract to make a booking. Travellers under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, or travel under arrangements expressly agreed with us in writing.
When booking, you must provide accurate names exactly as they appear on the travel document each traveller will use. Airlines and hotels may refuse service, or charge correction fees, where names do not match. Any such charges are your responsibility.
Quotations and Pricing
We provide a written Quotation before you commit to anything. It sets out the proposed itinerary, what is included, what is excluded, and the total price broken down between travel costs and our Service Fee. There are no hidden charges — anything not shown in the Quotation is not part of the price.
| Cost | Set by | When it is fixed |
|---|---|---|
| Flights, hotels, transport, activities | The Supplier | On confirmation and payment |
| Service Fee (planning & coordination) | Visament | At the time of your Quotation |
| Government or airport taxes, permits, entry fees | The relevant authority | Set by the authority; may change |
| Payment gateway or currency conversion charges | Your bank or gateway | At the time of payment |
Quotations are valid for the period stated on them and are subject to availability. Prices are not guaranteed until the booking is confirmed and paid, because Supplier rates, exchange rates and taxes can change. If a price changes before confirmation, we will tell you and you may accept the revised price or withdraw without any charge from us.
Bookings and Confirmation
A booking is confirmed only when we have received the required payment and issued you a written confirmation with your itinerary and booking references. An enquiry, a verbal discussion, or a draft itinerary does not constitute a confirmed booking.
Please check your confirmation carefully as soon as you receive it and tell us immediately if anything is incorrect. Corrections requested after confirmation may attract Supplier amendment charges.
Occasionally a Supplier may be unable to honour a reservation despite confirmation. If that happens, we will offer a comparable alternative or a full refund of the amount paid for that component.
Payments
- Payment terms — deposit amount, balance due date and accepted methods — are stated in your Quotation.
- Flights and certain hotel rates often require full payment at the time of booking, as fares are only held once ticketed.
- If the balance is not received by the due date, the booking may be cancelled by the Supplier and cancellation charges may apply.
- You are responsible for any bank charges, currency conversion costs or local taxes applicable in your country.
- We do not accept cash payments to individual staff members. Please pay only through the official channels confirmed by us in writing.
Changes and Cancellations by You
You can request changes to your itinerary at any time. Before booking, changes are free. After booking, we will always try to accommodate you, but each Supplier applies its own amendment and cancellation rules — and those rules govern what is possible and what it costs.
- Amendments — we will confirm any Supplier amendment fee and price difference to you before making the change. Nothing is changed without your approval.
- Cancellations — cancellation charges depend on how close to travel you cancel and on each Supplier's policy. Some fares and rates are non-refundable from the moment they are booked.
- Service Fee — our planning Service Fee covers work already performed. It is refundable in full if you cancel before we begin planning, may be partially refundable while planning is under way, and is non-refundable once your itinerary has been delivered and bookings confirmed.
- No-shows and unused services — services not used during your trip, including missed flights, transfers or activities, are generally non-refundable.
All cancellation requests must be sent in writing to support@visament.co. Charges are calculated from the date we receive your written request.
Changes Made by Suppliers or by Us
Travel arrangements are occasionally changed by Suppliers — a flight is retimed, a hotel is overbooked, an activity is withdrawn. Where this happens we will inform you as soon as we are told, and arrange a suitable alternative wherever possible.
Minor changes, such as a small timing adjustment or a change of room category or vehicle type, do not entitle you to a refund. For significant changes, you may accept the alternative offered, or receive a refund of the amount recoverable from the Supplier for the affected component.
Refunds
Where a refund is due, we process it to the original payment method. Amounts recoverable from Suppliers depend entirely on their policies and on when they release the funds to us; we pass on whatever we receive, less any Service Fee that has already been earned and any non-recoverable charges.
Refunds are typically processed within 7–14 business days of the funds being received from the Supplier, subject to your bank's own timelines. Airline refunds in particular can take considerably longer, and that timeline is outside our control.
Your Responsibilities
A smooth trip depends partly on us and partly on you. By booking with us, you agree that:
- Your details are accurate. Names, dates of birth, contact numbers and travel document details must be correct and match your travel documents exactly.
- You will hold valid travel documents. As set out in Section 04, obtaining passports, visas and permits is your responsibility.
- You will arrive on time. Check-in deadlines, departure times and pickup times are your responsibility to observe.
- You will respect local laws and customs. Including any rules applicable at religious sites, protected areas and wildlife reserves.
- You will disclose relevant needs. Mobility requirements, medical conditions, dietary restrictions or anything else that affects your arrangements should be told to us at the time of booking so we can plan appropriately.
Travel Insurance and Health
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance for every trip, covering at minimum medical treatment and repatriation, trip cancellation and curtailment, baggage, and any adventure activities you plan to undertake. Travelling without adequate insurance is at your own risk.
You are responsible for assessing your own fitness to travel and for any vaccinations or medication required. If an activity in your itinerary has physical demands or age limits, we will tell you what we know, but the decision to participate is yours.
Third-Party Suppliers and Links
When we arrange a flight, hotel, transfer, tour or activity, we do so as an agent between you and the Supplier who actually provides it. That Supplier's own terms, conditions, cancellation rules and liability limits apply to the service, and in many cases you enter into a direct contract with them.
The Website may also contain links to third-party sites, including Supplier sites and official government portals. These are provided for convenience only. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability or practices of any third-party site.
Events Beyond Our Control
We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations caused by events beyond our reasonable control. These include, but are not limited to, weather events, natural disasters, epidemics or pandemics, war, civil unrest, terrorism, strikes or industrial action, airport or airspace closures, technical failures, and government restrictions or advisories.
Where such an event affects your trip, we will do our best to find alternatives, but any refund remains subject to what is recoverable from the affected Suppliers.
Conduct and Prohibited Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Provide false, misleading or fraudulent information, or make a booking in someone else's name without their consent.
- Make speculative, fraudulent or duplicate bookings, or use a payment method you are not authorised to use.
- Behave in a way that endangers, threatens or unreasonably disrupts other travellers, our staff or a Supplier's staff.
- Interfere with, disrupt, scrape, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the Website or its systems.
- Misrepresent our services as being those of a government body or an authorised agent of one.
A Supplier may refuse to carry or accommodate any traveller whose behaviour is unacceptable, and no refund is payable in that event. We may also decline or cancel bookings, without refund, where these Terms are breached.
Intellectual Property
All content on the Website — including the Visament name, logo, text, graphics, itineraries, guides, page design and software — is owned by or licensed to the Company and protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and print content for your own personal, non-commercial use in connection with your travel with us.
You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, modify or commercially exploit any part of the Website without our prior written permission.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- The Website and Service are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
- We are not liable for the acts, omissions, delays, service quality or negligence of any Supplier, or of any authority.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, including loss of enjoyment, missed connections, loss of earnings or lost opportunity.
- Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our total aggregate liability to you for any claim is limited to the Service Fee you paid to us for the arrangement giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Nothing in these Terms affects any mandatory consumer rights you have under the law of your country of residence.
Complaints
If something goes wrong during your trip, please tell your travel consultant or the Supplier immediately so we have the chance to put it right while you are still travelling. Many issues can be resolved on the spot but become difficult to remedy afterwards.
If the matter is not resolved, write to us at support@visament.co within 30 days of your return, with your booking reference and any supporting details. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 3 business days and resolve them as quickly as possible.
Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to the paragraph below, the courts at our registered place of business shall have jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.
Before starting formal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the dispute in good faith by contacting support@visament.co with a written description of the issue. Nothing in this section removes any mandatory consumer protection rights available to you under the law of your country of residence.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of that right.
Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements or business practices. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date, and material changes will be notified by email or a prominent notice on the Website. The version in force at the time you made your booking governs that booking.
